My name is Barry Shultz and I am the author of this blog. I live in Delaware and I love this state.

I live here with my lovely wife Susan and my intelligent and handsome son Kirk. Presently we live in Millsboro, DE. I love clamming, fishing and using my metal detector on the beach. See my metal detector blog at metaldetectorclub.com.

While I visit the different places in Delaware I will take pictures and make articles of my visits for you to enjoy. Delaware has so much to offer and I will thoroughly enjoy sharing all of it with you.

I wasn’t born in Delaware, I was born in Pennsylvania. Like so many people in Delaware I was imported. You actually won’t find a lot of people here who were born in this state. Almost everyone I meet comes from somewhere else. People are attracted to Delaware for many reasons. These include the fact that there is no sales tax in this state. Property taxes are practically non-existent. Also, we have casinos, NASCAR race tracks and some of the most beautiful and the cleanest beaches on the east coast.
